In this piece, I was inspired to capture students’ display of freedom and joy. A simple parachute game serves as a catalyst for a moment of human connection and camaraderie. The painting is acrylic on canvas. I prefer acrylic paint because it’s accessible, fast-drying, and vibrant. It’s the best medium for depicting those often-overlooked life moments that I seek to capture in my paintings.
I continue to evolve in my process, voice, and vision. I hope to continue to develop paintings that chronicle human life.
