I am a clay artist, working with ceramics — both wheel-thrown and hand-built — as well as glazes and ceramic decals.
I worked for five years with inner-city Flint children during the height of the Flint water crisis. Artists have always responded to crises that have tugged at their heartstrings, as this one has.
Currently, I’m creating clay works that respond to climate change, and I continue writing, with recent articles featured in Ceramics Monthly and School Arts magazines.
