This work is a solar plate etching, a printmaking technique that was new and different to me at the time. A lot of my current work involves ink brush painting, and I was curious to see if that medium also could be used in printmaking. The imagery represents a series of stream of consciousness marks reflecting that creative process.
I have been very fortunate to have my art included in numerous exhibitions and, at the same time, have such personable and engaging students to work with. I plan to continue my work as an artist and art educator.
