I was inspired to create a self-expressive narrative about my feelings of loneliness and not fitting in. I deeply relate to the solitude of nature because it is the one place I find comfort and peace.
Acrylic on new surfaces is my preferred medium. I chose pointillism to draw the viewer into the large wooden panel. The time-consuming technique allowed me time to process and express the emotions I was experiencing.
