Writer Dana Goldstein posted this depressing email offer from a PR person who basically said that her company would draft an article for her.

“If you’re swamped, we’re happy to draft an article for you if that’ll help you.”

Goldstein, who wrote The Teacher Wars and now writes for The Marshall Project, declined and noted her objection to the suggestion.

But, as the Hechinger Report’s Meredith Kolodner tweeted in response, “wonder how often that happens, and then winds up in print.”
