The deadline to apply for the much-desired Spencer Education Journalism Fellowship (which I was lucky enough to do) is January 31, so start getting your ideas and application materials together.

There are some changes to the Spencer Education Journalism Fellowship for next year, including acceptance of four (rather than three) fellows and a reduction in the travel/research stipend down to $7,500 (from $10,000). They’re also recruiting English-speaking international candidates.

What have past recipients done with the time? Check out the summary here: Fellows and Projects 2008-2015.

For more information, contact Prof. LynNell Hancock, lh50@columbia.edu or Barbara Kantrowitz, bak34@columbia.edu.
