Persian Beauty

This piece depicts my best friend. I grew up with her and thus experienced dinners in her kitchen and had the opportunity to see the cultural decorations sprinkled around her home. I created this piece to glorify my friend’s beauty and her culture’s. I’ve always preferred using oil paint, and in this piece, it allowed me to achieve the best vibrancy of the colors.

I’m looking forward to taking an Advanced Placement art course in my senior year of high school, and I plan to take art classes in college and continue learning as much as I can about art!
