I am always capturing others, but I exist too, and self-portraiture is how I fight “against disappearance.” Shadows and reflections catch my attention because they are both “me” as well as a shape all their own.
Photography is the one medium I can always create with. It’s been a constant throughout my life. While I am the “jack of all trades” as an art teacher, I have dived into photography as my medium of choice.
